  • Whitehall: new bus lanes, wider pavements and improved setting for the Cenotaph
  • The Mall: existing pedestrian crossing relocated adjacent to junction of Horse Guards Road to become a 'toucan' crossing (pedestrians and cyclists)
  • Horse Guards Road: cycles and essential access only
  • Proposed 'toucan' crossing for pedestrians and cyclists across Great George Street, between Horse Guards Road and Storey's Gate junctions
  • Embankment: improved pedestrian crossings and widened pavements
  • Whitehall Place: banned right turns to and from Whitehall
