• Improved setting for the Cenotaph and many other listed buildings in the area
• More pleasant areas between buildings in places such as Old Palace Yard, Broad Sanctuary and St Martin's Place
• New floating pavilion on river at end of landscaped walkway through the Royal Parks
• Changes to the existing staircases in Trafalgar Square
• A new civic place at Raleigh Gardens, half way along Whitehall with a strong focus and a place to rest
