  • Better facilities and space for pedestrians
  • Walking through the area will be easier, quicker and safer
  • New places to sit and rest throughout the study area
  • Improved management of existing and new public places, particularly Trafalgar Square
  • Improved access for disabled people around the areas and into individual buildings
  • Better information and facilities for visitors to understand and appreciate heritage sites and ceremonial events in the area
