Following a commercial interest of some years, in 1994 Allgood took on whole ownership of FSB Design Hardware Limited, thus becoming the sole UK distributors of the FSB range of Architectural Hardware. FSB is a German range designed by their own research and development department and a glittering array of renowned designers including Jasper Morrison, Philippe Starck, Dieter Rams, Franco Clivio, Alessandro Mendini, Mario Botta, Hartmut Weise and Johannes Potente, the unsung industrial designer from Brakel.

FSB has proved a tremendous asset to Allgood. All FSB ironmongery fully coordinates with the high performance Allgood Hardware mechanical items, providing specifiers with the most flexible design options available.

New products are launched every year within the FSB range and this year, at the Spectrum exhibition at the Royal College of Art, FSB showed off its latest creation - a Nordic wing-beat in stainless steel for European doors by Danish designer Erik Magnussen.
