Discussions with various consultants ( electrical, plumbing, A/C etc.) directly including client interaction makes the job very challenges and interesting.

Individual projects :

Thesis : A Housing Project at Aligarh( for a Muslim community).
The design brief asked for an approach which was typically oriented towards serving a specific group type majority of which belonged to a Muslim community especially people who live in the tight pockets of the medieval city of Aligarh. The city can be easily identified in small pockets of Hindu and Muslim areas.
I went quite a few times to study the living habits of people especially in these pockets of Aligarh which I found quite interesting to be considered while designing and assigning areas to various activities. I have tried to incorporate maximum ways in which their lifestyle will not be affected.
A typical feature that I dealt was the search for Space for Women in Muslim society and I am quite confident that my design speaks equally as it speaks for other design issues.
Achievements : Since childhood I have been a person of varied interests. The reminiscences of school are still fresh where from good marks I was the Vice House Captain followed by House Captain. My mother who also teaches mathematics was filled with pride when I topped the District Table Tennis Championship and my school stood first in the district. The co-curricular activities were not out of my reach as I represented our zone at the Regional level ,secured first position and hence got selected for Nationals. Another achievement was a position at Numerical ability test and consolation prize at national level Poster competition on AIDS. The breakthrough of selection for National Level Trekking by Himachal Pradesh Government is memorable.
The achievements were similar at college when I got selected for Punjab Engineering Entrance. I have been scoring an average of 72% in all semesters at college and always stood among the topers which I never tried to improve because then it would have been impossible to achieve other heights which the toppers lack.
Few of my extra achievements are as follows :
Represented College as Unit Secretary at NASA ( National Association of Students of Architecture) Convention at Nagpur'1996.
Paper selected for an international conference CATALYST'97,AUSTRALIA written jointly under our Dean Prof. Mishra on the topic Zoological gardens- An eco-friendly approach.
