Wooden Windows

UK: Wooden Windows: Wooden Window Manufacturers & Suppliers

There are three main types of wooden windows: sash windows, casement windows, and French windows. All may be double glazed. Sash wooden windows, popular since the 17th Century, have vertically sliding panels, usually divided into smaller panes with glazing bars. Casement wooden windows are side-hung and may be installed as single windows or in pairs. French wooden windows are full height glazed pairs of doors giving access from a room to garden, patio, or balcony. To provide a robust and maintenance-free exterior, aluminium-clad wooden windows are available. Leading UK suppliers of wooden windows are profiled below the panel of sponsored links.
