Venetian Blinds

UK: Venetian Blinds: Venetian Blind Manufacturers & Suppliers

Venetian blinds, made up of adjustable horizontal slats, have the advantage over roller blinds that they can be adjusted to allow as much light into the room as desired. The disadvantages of Venetian blinds are that they are more difficult to clean, and to raise. Venetian blinds may have slats made of wood or of aluminium (which may be perforated to allow some transmission of light through the slat). The most common Venetian blind slat widths are 25mm and 50mm. In wooden Venetian blinds the vertical connection can be of tape rather than thread, to give a more traditional look. Leading UK suppliers of venetian blinds are profiled below the panel of sponsored links.
